11 Upcoming Windows 8 Laptops

Bangalore: The launch of Microsoft Window 8 by the end of October, 2012 will give birth to a whole new generation for device such as touch screen laptops, convertible laptops, hybrid devices (tablet-cum-ultrabook), tablets and all-in-one desktops. Well known PC manufactures are coming up with huge list of devices which includes laptops, hybrid, tablet and many more.

Recently we have covered a story on 20 Windows 8 devices which are ready to launch just after the official release of Windows 8 operating system. Now we have come up with a new list of Windows 8 running laptops (purely laptops; no convertible or hybrid design) which are ready for launch.

1. Acer Aspire V5

Acer Aspire V5 Series laptops come in four modes; V5-171 (11.6 inch screen), V5-471P (14 inch screen), V5-571(15.6 inch screen) and V5-571P (15.6 inch screen). The model which ends with a ‘P’ refers to a touch screen display with 10 point multi-touch support.

All Aspire series notebooks run on Windows 8 operating system and come powered with Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, Intel HD 4000 graphic along with Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 for faster boot up. The notebooks feature 500GB or 750GB hard drives, DVD drive for 14 inch and 15 inch models.
